IMPORTANT! Last weekend during the All-Star game, Our very own Patrick Alonso suffered from a severe neck injury. Pat plays outside linebacker for us. He was put in a halo anywhere from 6-12 months. The WCB and the rest of the FFA are having a league wide fundraiser to offset some of the cost that he and his family will incur while Pat in healing. We are asking all Players and Staff members to donate at least $10 to this cause. Also, anybody outside of the league may donate as well. We have no idea what kind of pain and hardship this is going to be for him and his family. We just want to make it a little easier for Patrick during this time of need. Please help us out in the efforts to raise money for this unfortunate accident. Please contact us at Info@westcoastbearsfootball.com to find out how and where to donate. Thank You. Brandon Valenca

On Wednesday, August 22, 2007 Bob Hinton passed away after a brave battle with cancer. Bob was best known for his enthusiasm and hard work covering local events in Hernando County. The WCB staff is sad to see him go, but grateful to have known "Hernando Bob".
